Vintage Lincolnshire Poacher comes from a dairy farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds where 230 Holstein Friesian cows graze on the open fields to produce milk for this deliciously strong hard cheese, that’s ages for 18 months. Beneath the golden rind of Lincolnshire Poacher lies a cheese not dissimilar to a traditional West Country Cheddar – deep and rich in flavour, with a smooth lingering aftertaste. Our particular Poacher also has a slight nutty hint to give it that little bit of extra special sweetness.
